Funny Faces upon windows

smoking up the glass

looking through clear spaces

peeking at the grass

hiding back the tears from crying

looking out at this place

everyday is a fake smile

upon her pretty face

Smiling funny faces

just to hide the tears

fake a laugh, it will be okay

she's been doing it for years

Looking at old pictures

happy moments so unknown

waking up everyday

just to find herself alone

Funny face upon her

secrets gone unseen

on the outside of this broken girl

the turmoil hidden inside seems so serene

Smiling till the night time comes

then she cries herself to sleep

mascara tears flow down her eyes

into her dreams they creep

Funny faces gone till morning

sadness takes over her dreams

keeping away the outside world

hiding desperate screams

Wake up in a cold sweat

then pretend every thing's okay

muttering an "I'm fine"

it's all she can manage to say

Funny faces in the mirror

perfecting her deceit

smiles that only tell lies

eyes that do not meet

Looking through the window

making funny faces to outside

with that smile she keeps lying

hiding how hurt she is inside

BEING FUNNY

This is Daniel,my second son.He is 3yrs old.He is in nursery

one.Daniel is a very funny boy.He can make you laugh even

when you don't want to.Daniel is a young clown and a comedian.Daniel has a message for you on being funny.

Being funny can have different meanings to different people, depending on whom you ask. Your friends may have a different definition of funny, but in the end, it will be something that will get a pleasant reaction to whoever is listening to the joke. Don't forget that the whole process of being funny is something that is supposed to make people laugh. How to be funny is to learn about yourself, what makes you laugh and possibly find a small group with similar interest and chances are you will have a group of

people who will appreciate your jokes.

Trying too hard to be funny works against you. It sets up a confrontational feel to your delivery. You feel as though you are challenging the audience to laugh. The attitude is that it is important to "make them laugh!" That if you do not succeed that you are not in control and you fail. It sets up an expectation that the laughs MUST come. And you feel a disappointment when your expectations are not met. You tell a joke. You get no laughs. You give the audience the "look of expectation." When delivering humor, do not beg.

It is a clear lesson that we learn on the improv stage. The harder you try to be funny, the less funny you will be. Better to relax and be in the moment. Connect with the others in the room. Let the humor flow from your character, your stories, what you do with your body, how you pause. And the audience will like you more when you are less "in their face" with the humor
